Dementors Day, or Expecto Patronum

9.7 km, 59.23 min, 10,163 steps (13 Jan)

What a grey day today! It's lunchtime but it's so dark that everything around is just a shade of grey – lifeless, as though kissed by dementors. I feel as though my orange Da Vinci vest is the only bright spot in he world.

Then, maybe it is, in a way. I am looking at the grey tense faces of the passing motorists or at the grey farmers trundling in their grey tractors - and I am seeing them brighten up in smiles as though the orange reflection has pierced the grey and gave them a bit of life.

Light defficiency in winter is a known factor linked to depression. Feeling low, winter blues – it' s physical, not metaphorical. Let's don our brightest, shiniest  gear and beat the grey, I do.

Hey, I am checking this blog using the phone and this appears to be kind of odd. Thought you'd wish to know. This is a great write-up nevertheless, did not mess that up.
