The Oklahoma Tornado Dog.

(20 May, Monday)

With Leroy and Strelka: 10.4 km - 62.38 min. +12ºC, light drizzle, so light, it stays suspended in the air. Towards the end I couldn't tell if it were sweat or rain dripping down my forehead.

My sympathy goes to the victims of tornado in America. With millions all over the world I watched with horror the devastation brought on by the giant twister in Oklahoma. And like many I am in awe at the Americans' resilience and can-do attitude, the spirit of community and mutual help that Oklahomans have shown. And like everybody else I was thrilled with the story of the little dog found in debris just as the old lady, his master, was being interviewed.
