Splashing through mud

19 km - 1 hour 52. 48 min.
It was so easy and pleasant to run today. It's mild, damp, quiet and there is a heavy pregnant feeling of the coming of Spring.

I took a long circuit that goes over a muddy path that never quite dries even at the height of Summer. Dogs love it because the earth is so soft there. A group of cyclists caught up with us, overtook with smiles and bonjours, but could never shake us off - the dogs started pulling strongly and cyclists struggled in mud as the path went uphill. And so my dogs and I had tailgated them for about 10 minutes until we were out on tarmac again.

Two wheels good, ten legs better.
